How I believe the Human Z-Fighters against Kid Buu on the Grand Kai's Planet was supposed to be...

Original frame from Dragon Ball Z Kai Episode 151 (Krillin & Yamcha charge ki blasts against the crazy mass-murderer Majin - originally in Dragon Ball Z Episode 278 counted by fans as "filler" but now it's cannon):

My take - Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu are included as they were dead too at that time, weird they were never taken there:

I LOVE IT THAT THE DRAGON BALL KAI STAFF KEPT THE GRAND KAI'S PLANET SCENES AROUND DESPITE IT WAS "FILLER"!

These scenes only showed in detail the top-guns of this planet instead of random bg characters that were shown in DBZ when Kid Buu arrived: Mariakoh, Olibu, Pikkon, Torbie, Krillin and Yamcha.

Instead of King Kai, Krillin and Yamcha sensing the battle on the Kaioshin Realm while circled by the top-guns and random bg characters, Kai made this scene of the trio standing on top of a damaged bridge.

West Kai has no clue about Majin Buu's threat nor identity, but his best student Pikkon now does.

I like this scene of the canon characters sensing the battle of Goku and Vegeta vs. Majin Buu in one group while the filler ones are on the other.

The End of Coolsville (mapped by all available Scooby-Doo comics, cartoons & novels from 1969 - 2016)

Examining a 1989-2016 phenomenon: The Dragon Ball franchise's Saiyan obsession makes no sense!

From in-universe checking of their history: the Saiyans were a race of people who originated in Planet Salad (or Sadla) where there was some internal conflict going on, then they had to take refuge and fled to outer space in small numbers via a "mysterious spaceship" and landed on Planet Plant (Age 550). Nothing to indicate an extreme level of strengh or universal importance is shown in flashbacks about these years in Saiyan History, only barbarism and thirst to battle. Since their arrival till their uprising in Age 720 (that lasted ten more years) they had to respect the Tuffle majority on the planet who were technologically superior to them despite the Tuffles being a race of weaklings even in Raditz's standards, the "all mighty" Saiyans had no powers to defeat them and lived in the sidelines of the Tuffle cities as violent raiders. After becoming a "free people" and renaming the planet after their leader, Vegeta sr., the Saiyans were hired by Frieza's Army (or Arcosians) to do some dirty work for them conquering a planet in return for technological goods and cash. The Saiyans' job as space pirates lasted 7 years while their status was of LOW-LEVEL SMALL FRIES within the Galactic Frieza Army and there was nothing to support their own claim of being "the strongest race in space", yet paranoid Frieza had no intention of checking out the validity of their legend of a "Super Saiyan that appeared 1000 years ago" and destroyed 99.999% of them alongside their stolen homeworld.
This status of being useful idiots was kept till early DBZ (about 24 years into the future since Frieza blew them up) as shown by the mockery the tyrant & his Middle-Elite goons kept throwing at Vegeta, Nappa and Radditz who were basically their cannon fodders.
Then, after we learnt of the Super Saiyan power against Frieza on Namek, the staff who saw the financial potential behind it began to reshape the Saiyan race as the "ultimate warrior race" that has no & never had any bounderies (expanding their prime to 80 years of age, while the old days Saiyans never came close even to the power level of Cui).
Saiyans became the sole purpose of the franchise, minimizing the roles of any other non-Saiyan character and attaching every plot to revolve around this race, it began with the Androids Conflict (Age 767=5 years prior, Saiyans were basically sucking in terms of raw power) where Humans became almost useless (giving a hand when they're needed but it never really changed much), Piccolo who was a Super Namek couldn't came close to the mastered Super Saiyans but stayed in the front, while the Saiyans managed to do all the ass kicking the show needed in each saga: 11 years old Saiyan-Human hybrid Gohan went SSJ 2 and overcame Super Perfect Cell; Majin Buu who terrorized the 7th Universe for millions of years was blocked by SSJ 2 Goku & Vegeta before an interplanetary Spirit Bomb killed him with even the Kaioshins who are supposed to be the ultimate deities in the universe proving no match for the Saiyans' power, then the Saiyans were able to draw the attention of Beerus the local God of Destruction and Goku with the energy drawn from 5 individuals of Saiyan heritage went "Super Saiyan God" (the newest form of no-sense bullshit to keep the show running, I like SSJ4 more) go toe to toe with him. It continued with the Resurrection 'F' story, where Saiyans basically ran the plot and ended it as "Super Saiyan God Super Saiyans" when needed, U6 & U7 Tournament proved again this show had became pointless other than promoting Goku & Vegeta toys with them taking all the action time. Now that the Goku Black arc ended (THANK GOODNESS!) we can summerize it like this: a Kaioshin full with hate towards mortals falls in love with the body of Goku, steals it to proceed with his life dream of erasing mortals, declares "Saiyans are the glorified warrior race" a few times over the fight(s), merges with his immortal counterpart and lost to a Saiyan-Human hybrid who caused all the arc to happen.
Should I even mention DBZ Movies and Dragon Ball GT (look at Ledgic & General Rildo's comments basically saying "only Saiyans could be this powerful" while facing Goku) which besides Baby & Dr. Raichi who had a really good reason for hating or even knowing about Saiyans, were all about Super Saiyans action time & glorifcation of that race?
TL;DR: How could a bunch of space simian humanoids who were used as galactic cannon fodders for King Cold's empire became the unstopable power in the universe that surpasses even the Gods (Kaioshins & probably even Hakaishins by the end of Super) within 4.5 decades, taking over a good franchise and seemingly has no physical limits to their growing in strength?
